Last Thursday, Megan and I went exploring through Vancouver en route to an event and found this amazing seaside park. The weather worked in our favor, offering up some glorious Vancouver views. It’s not everywhere that you can feel a warm sea breeze by the ocean, while looking at snow-capped mountains!

My love of white continues from winter into summer. Inspired a bit by The Great Gatsby (incredibly beautiful must-see movie, if you haven’t seen it already!), I threw in a pocket square for a dapper touch on the look. A hint of red in the striped belt adds a nod to nautical style. I’ve noticed that many of my style blogging peers have been rocking the red, white and blue combo lately too – are we seeing a trend emerge?

After weeks of hunting for a great pair of mint pants, I finally found these at Zara – they always come through for on trend pieces! Also new in my wardrobe is this baseball tee from RVCA. I have a growing affinity for baseball inspired pieces, so we’ll see where that goes throughout the season.

Like in my last post, I rediscovered another jacket in my closet that has been absent from my main rotation for a while. This season, we’re seeing a lot of whites, so it’s the perfect opportunity to bring this motorcycle style jacket back.

And this diva my dog, Hannah decided to cooperate and make an appearance!

What to wear to brunch at the gold club? I wanted to go for something classic and preppy, but with a bit of edge. Out came a gingham shirt, red jeans and an added layer: a witty graphic tee. Pop Chart Lab is a brilliant info-graphical brand that turns cultural data into art. The “Code of Arms” T-shirt that I’m wearing represents the greatest video game cheat of all time, rendered as a heraldic shield. I mentioned that Pop Chart Lab was brilliant, right?

The jacket, by Trovata is one from the archives. It’s been a while since I last wore it and this is the first time it has appeared on the blog. It’s fun to put away great pieces for a while and rediscover them later – you should try it!

Last week, I attended an event with LACOSTE, celebrating the brand’s 80th anniversary. Naturally, I wanted to show my support with a crocodile on my chest, donning a classic LACOSTE polo. I went for an athletic-chic look, sporting reflective sunglasses and metallic sneakers. This was a first wear for my new Generic Surplus silver shoes and I am completely in love with them!

These past couple months, I’ve had a KENZO tiger case over my iPhone and seeing as our tech can be our most prominent accessories these days, I thought I’d give you a close up look.

Another hot day in Toronto and I went for neutral basics to beat the heat. Classic denim shirt, leather bag and a twist with leopard print shoes. I actually picked up these shoes last November and they’ve since lived in my closet until the weather finally turned around. I’m excited to debut them on the blog and wear them around this summer!

This look is clean with an urban edge – summer attire that’s ready for the streets. I was comfortable and not too hot nor cold. Although casual, this outfit was perfectly appropriate for the various appointments and media previews I had around the city that day.
